Cassa is a Rwandese music icon and a trailblazer for a whole new generation of Rwandese pop artists.

In the early 2000s, Cassa joined one of the first private radio stations in Rwanda, Contact FM, and put the spotlight on a unique niche: local urban music. 
 Shortly after his radio success, Cassa launched his solo music career and released hit singles such as "My Dance Floor" "lmyaka3", and "Ishiraniro"
 to name a few, establishing a name for himself on the national and regional scene. Now-based in Toronto, Canada, he has quickly gained a following in the Afrobeat and afro Caribbean scene, with his spectacular stage performances with a 7 piece band and unique sense of fashion.
Cassa has performed alongside hip hop legends Delasoul and Lupe fiasco, comedian Margaret Cho, Juno Award winner Mighty Popo and was handpicked to perform a special tribute for legendary music producer Quincy Jones and the best is yet to come.
